NET - The Second Edition of the Art and Theater Festival

From Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 21, the second edition of NET - Art and Theater Festival kicks off, a project born in 2023 at Scugnizzo Liberato and promoted by the Kalamos association, in collaboration with Antego, NaDir Teatro Popolare, and, of course, Scugnizzo Liberato. NET stands for network, that of emerging artists from the Campania region (and beyond) that Kalamos felt the need to connect, "a French hook" of arts and performances: actors, dancers, singers, performers will perform during the three days, April 19-20-21, in the unique setting of the former Filangieri prison, today Scugnizzo Liberato, a mutual aid workshop. The NET project - New Theatrical Existences Festival stems from the idea that Kalamos has been promoting since its foundation: networking. Knowing and sharing with similar theatrical realities, both near and far, to stimulate the creative and artistic activity of the participating groups is one of the purposes of Kalamos, as a Social and Cultural Promotion association, as well as the first goal of the NET project. In particular, what moves us is bringing together artistic realities rooted in the Campanian territory, realities that push for a "bottom-up" theater, self-financed and self-managed, in short... free! NET aims to offer the possibility for groups and theater companies from southern Italy to get to know each other through theater, bringing short performances to the stage. But the festival is dedicated to art in 360 degrees: during the three days, the space of Scugnizzo Liberato will host exhibitions (curated by the Antego association) of figurative art by emerging artists, ranging from graphics to sculpture and photography. And in the outdoor spaces of Scugnizzo Liberato, street artists, performers, actors, musicians will entertain patrons and spectators in unique performances. The program sees the opening of the Festival entrusted to the Art Exhibition curated by @Antego (Friday and Saturday from 7:30 pm; Sunday from 6 pm). Friday on stage at 8:30 pm "Trittiko - Dante/Bukowski/Chekhov" with Zero81 Lab and Margherita Romero; at 9 pm dinner plus "Impro" by Teatro Popolare, and at 10 pm "Cage 47 - First movement of the Human Zoo-m Project" by Teatro Nudo. Saturday at 8:30 pm "The Whale or the Saint of Nothing" with The Saints of Nothing, followed by dinner plus live music and street artists, at 10 pm "Disgraced" by G237 productions and closing the evening dj set with Lordnox. Sunday at 7 pm "Speech to the Swedish Academy" with Benito Martino, at 7:30 pm live music with Banda Basaglia, followed by theater again with "The Law Does Not Admit Serafini" with the T.S.O (Theater Under Observation) and closing again with live music with Murga Los Espositos.
