The new Police Chief of Avellino has been appointed. He is Dr. Pasquale Picone, deputy of the Police Headquarters of Salerno. Picone, 55 years old, boasts a prestigious career. He joined the police at a very young age and has held various positions. He has directed, among other things, the Vicaria-Mercato police station in Naples.
Previously, he had held top roles in Avellino: head of the Mobile Squad, of the Digos and head of the cabinet. Pasquale Picone, who is from Ospedaletto d'Alpinolo in the province of Avellino, will be managing the G7 in Mirabella Eclano next October. He takes over from Nicolino Pepe, who will assume a top position in the cabinet of the Ministry of the Interior.
