'Rosa', the new single by Raiz, is now available on all streaming platforms. The song was written for the fourth season of 'Mare Fuori', the successful TV series that returns with new episodes from February 1, 2024, available for free streaming on Raiplay and from February 14 in prime time on Rai 2. This time, Raiz, who in the series plays the iconic boss Salvatore Ricci, speaks directly through his character, dedicating to his daughter Rosa verses in which he tells of a dream where together they change their future, leaving behind the underworld.
A dream that lasts the space of a night. 'I have always thought of my daughter as if she were a flower' says Raiz 'When in the second season of Mare Fuori my character was given a daughter, moreover named Rosa, a strange mechanism of self-identification was triggered that is expressed at its maximum in this song. Salvatore Ricci tells of a dream he had: an impossible tomorrow of redemption, redemption and paternal love, but his voice is mine singing for my five-year-old daughter.'
The artistic production of 'Rosa' was entrusted to Paolo Baldini, a well-known dub/reggae producer who also shares the presence in Almamegretta with Raiz, Giuseppe De Trizio who recorded guitars and mandolin, and Luigi Patruno. Parallel to his presence on the screen, Raiz will also be on stage for some concerts in which he will continue the presentation of his latest album 'Si ll’ammore è ‘o ccuntrario d’’a morte', the tribute to the music and poetry of Sergio Bruni released in February 2023 and since then successfully presented in the most important Italian theaters.
