Night of checks in San Giorgio a Cremano for the Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco company who, together with the canine unit from Sarno, scoured streets and suspicious houses. The Carabinieri caught them in the 36-year-old's residence in possession of 63 grams of cocaine and 2 precision scales. The drugs had been hidden in the stairwell of a building and were 'sniffed' out and reported by the drug-sniffing dog. The arrested are in jail awaiting trial. Not only drugs, but thorough checks also allowed the Carabinieri to identify 53 people and inspect 40 vehicles. A 23-year-old was reported after he, aboard his own smart car, did not stop at a stop and unsuccessfully attempted to flee. For the 23-year-old, there were also several traffic citations such as refusal to undergo an alcohol test, driving with a suspended license, and driving the wrong way. The checks will continue in the coming days.
