Last night, officers from the Vicaria-Mercato police station, while patrolling the area, were alerted by the screams of some people in Cesare Rosaroll street. They pointed out two individuals fleeing towards Porta Capuana, identifying them as the perpetrators of a robbery just committed against a young man.
The police officers, promptly intervening, managed to catch and stop one of the suspects in Carriera Grande street, finding him in possession of a knife, while the other managed to escape.
Furthermore, the officers verified that the aforementioned individual, shortly before, together with his accomplice, had threatened the young man with a knife to his throat and had stolen his mobile phone.
Therefore, the suspect, a 29-year-old from the province of Caserta with a police record, was arrested for aggravated robbery.
