Nighttime Arrest in Brusciano: Police Nab One Suspect in Car Theft, Another Flees

Last night in Brusciano, the carabinieri of the operational section of the Castello di Cisterna company arrested a 43-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, Agostino Galasso, for aggravated theft. The anti-robbery service officers noticed two people in a car making suspicious movements. At that point, they followed them and, on Via dei Due Pini, the 43-year-old entered a Lancia Y after forcing it open. The man was immediately stopped while his accomplice fled in the car they were moving in. The chase lasted almost 2 kilometers until the fugitive crashed into another parked vehicle. However, the accomplice did not give up and managed to escape into the surrounding countryside. The arrested is awaiting trial while the search for the accomplice continues. The stolen car was then returned intact to its rightful owner.
