Nighttime Assault in Piazza San Francesco at Porta Capuana

Yesterday in Piazza San Francesco at Porta Capuana, a person was attacked late at night by a man who had attempted to steal their phone. The victim, having noticed the man, had tried to defend themselves, but in vain. The intervention of the officers from the Office of Prevention and Public Assistance was needed, who during a patrol of the area came to the victim's aid. After a struggle with the law enforcement, the attacker was first identified and then arrested for attempted robbery, resistance, and assault on a Public Official.
