Nighttime Domestic Violence Incident Leads to Arrests

At 3:00 AM, the Carabinieri of the mobile section of the Torre del Greco company intervened in an apartment in Portici due to the report of a quarrel. The kitchen was in disarray, and present in the house were a man, his partner, and her father. The man, a 34-year-old, is already known to law enforcement. She, on the other hand, appeared covered in bruises, having just been assaulted by her partner. The Carabinieri took the three individuals to the station to reconstruct the incident, followed by the 118 emergency services to assist the woman. Thanks also to the statements of her father, it was possible to reconstruct a picture of domestic violence and assaults, the last of which occurred shortly before the intervention of the law enforcement. The 34-year-old was arrested for domestic abuse and transferred to prison. Shortly after the arrest, the officers intervened in a quarrel between the victim and her father outside the station, during which the woman threatened to kill the elderly man. Only after several investigations, it emerged that the 73-year-old had previously reported his daughter for extortion and abuse. The woman, a 37-year-old, was arrested and taken to the Pozzuoli prison.
