On the night between Thursday and Friday, officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia police station, during their patrol, intervened at a lodging facility on Via Bologna, in Naples, due to a report of a troublesome person.
The police, upon arriving at the scene, were approached by the owner of the facility who reported that he had been threatened by one of the guests. Consequently, the officers went to the room of the individual who, upon seeing them, threw himself at them, attacking them.
Not without struggle, the man was restrained thanks to the support of the officers of the General Prevention Office and the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station.
During the search, the suspect was found in possession of 5 pieces of hashish weighing about 18 grams, 2 bags containing about 3.5 grams of marijuana and a dose of cocaine.
The 28-year-old of Tunisian origin ended up in handcuffs: he is charged with illegal possession of narcotics, personal injury, resisting a public official, and damage.
