"Not One Less, Red Code: Strategies, Prevention, Protection, and Empowerment for Women Victims of Violence": this was the theme of the round table held today at the Metaphor room of the Naples court, organized by the Campania territorial section of the National Forensic Network studies center and by the Bar Association. Immacolata Troianiello, the president of the Bar Association, the treasurer councillor Nathalie Mensitieri, Annarita Patriarca from the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on Femicide, the president of the north Naples court Pierluigi Picardi, the Deputy Prosecutor Raffaello Falcone, the Ambassador of Angola to Italy Fatima Jardim, and the Ambassador to Italy of Burundi Ernest Ndabashiuze were present. "I am the first woman president of the Bar Association," said Troianiello, "and I emphasize that from the beginning, the policy of the Council has always been directed to bridge the treatment gap between men and women that is reflected in the workplace and income. Therefore, a complete synergy with all institutions becomes indispensable and irreplaceable to balance these evident imbalances." In his speech, the treasurer Mensitieri, focusing on gender violence, explained that "the number of violences suffered by women is not worthy of a civilized country. The path to ensure equity must be complete, the judicial response cannot represent a solution because often, when the judge's sentence arrives, it is too late. Prevention work must start essentially from families and schools. My hope is that from the halls of this court, every day, a signal of strong hope and deep respect for all women can start."
