Off-duty Carabinieri Foils Pickpocket's Attempt in Naples

An off-duty Carabinieri, assisted in Piazza Montesanto in the theft of a smartphone and prevented the latest pickpocket's attempt. The Carabinieri from the Napoli San Giuseppe station was on his way to take the metro when he noticed the thief in action. The swift move of the pickpocket, who took the smartphone from a passerby's pocket, did not go unnoticed by the military man who immediately intervened. Thus, the thief, who was also in possession of a switchblade, was arrested, and the phone was returned to the victim.
