Off-Duty Police Officer Arrests Man in Naples

Last night, an off-duty policeman from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, while passing through Via Giacinto Gigante, noticed a person who, after parking a scooter with the license plate covered by a sweater, approached a woman with a suspicious manner. The officer, after identifying himself, attempted to stop the subject, but the latter started to verbally assault him until, not without difficulty and after a struggle, he was restrained. Therefore, the man, a 52-year-old from Naples with a police record, was arrested for resisting a Public Official.
