Overnight Car Theft Thwarted by Police in Naples

In the night just passed, officers from the Scampia and Secondigliano police stations, during their patrol duty, upon orders from the operations center, intervened in via Luigi Renato Sansone due to a report of a parked car being stolen. The police, arriving on the scene, noticed three men tampering with the interior of the reported car and then attempting to flee upon seeing the officers. The agents, promptly intervening, managed to catch and stop one of them, finding him in possession of a car diagnostic tool and two electronic keys. Subsequently, it was ascertained that the car's door lock had been forced and the electrical system cables had been cut. Therefore, the suspect, a 26-year-old from Naples with a history of police records, including specific ones, was arrested for aggravated theft.
