Paupisi's Cecatiello Recognized as Traditional Agri-food Product

“The cecatiello of Paupisi has been recognized as a traditional agri-food product,” announced Dario Orsillo, president of the Proloco of Paupisi. On the Official Gazette General Series number 61 of last March 13th, the 24th revision of the list of Traditional Agri-food Products that have been declared expressions of the Italian cultural heritage, along with PDOs and PGIs, a resource for the development and relaunch of the Italian agri-food sector, was published. “PATs - Orsillo continues - are those products whose methods of processing, preservation, and maturation are consolidated over time and are practiced in the territory in a homogeneous manner and according to traditional and long-standing rules. For the milestone achieved, I thank the Department of Agriculture of the Campania Region, Lorena Pacelli for her availability and support, and all the tourist association that I am honored to lead.
