Police and Security Forces Conduct Extensive Checks in Naples' Nightlife Areas

Yesterday, as part of the services provided by the Naples Police Department in the areas of 'nightlife', officers from the Vomero, Posillipo, Chiaiano, Bagnoli, Dante, San Giovanni-Barra, Scampia, Administrative and Social Division, Public Order Unit of the Cabinet Office, the finance officers of the Guardia di Finanza, with the assistance of local police personnel and the support of the Crime Prevention Department of Campania and the Mobile Department, carried out checks in the Vomero district and in particular in San Martino, in Vanvitelli and Medaglie D’Oro squares and in Giordano, Scarlatti and Falcone streets. During the service, the operators identified 416 people, 40 of whom have a police record, checked 127 vehicles, and reported 16 traffic violations; in addition, 9 commercial establishments were checked, 2 of which were fined for not updating the HACCP sheets (related to food safety and hygiene conditions) and for not displaying the HACCP manual and sheets. Furthermore, with the assistance of personnel from the Naples Labour Inspectorate, two commercial establishments were checked and 4 prescriptions were imposed for violations of health and safety in the workplace.
