Police Chase Ends in Arrest and Multiple Charges for Naples Man

Yesterday morning, the Kites of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, during their territorial control service, checked a scooter with two people on board in the alley of Santa Maria degli Angeli alle Croci. At that moment, the driver, who appeared particularly agitated from the start, accelerated, hitting an operator and ramming one of the motorcycles, but the police managed to reach and stop him. For these reasons, the suspect, identified as a 29-year-old from Naples, was arrested for assault, resisting a public officer, and aggravated damage. Furthermore, he was administratively fined for possession of narcotics for personal use, as he was found in possession of a package containing about two grams of marijuana, and he was also charged with two violations of the Road Code for lack of insurance coverage and for driving with a suspended license.
