Police Crackdown on Illegal Parking and Regulatory Violations in Naples

22 vehicles were found illegally parked during a police check in the Neapolitan districts of San Giovanni Barra and Ponticelli. For two others, a lack of insurance coverage and failure to undergo inspection were ascertained. 12 vehicles were towed because they were parked on sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, or ramps for the disabled. In the Avvocata district, checks were carried out at premises of the Movida in the Spanish Quarters area; of the 6 premises checked, 5 were fined, 3 for illegally occupying public land and 2 for lack of sound impact authorization. Similar checks were carried out by the local police in Chiaia, which issued 3 fines for violations of sound impact regulations on Bisignano Street. Also in Chiaia, the local police intervened for issues related to the parking of six vehicles on Vittorio Emanuele course, issuing 28 administrative fines and towing 8 vehicles.
