The police have executed six precautionary custody orders in prison and house arrest, issued by the judge for preliminary investigations at the Court of Naples, dismantling a criminal organization, which mainly operates in Campania and Lazio, to attack the life insurance policies of Poste Italiane S.p.a, fraudulently collecting in place of the rightful holders.
Six arrests are being executed as a precautionary measure, three arrests for crimes caught in the act, occurred during the operations of illicit collection of policies, 48 searches were carried out during the investigations and 39 people are under investigation.
The operation, called 'Insider', comes to the conclusion of a complex and articulated investigation, conducted by the Cybersecurity Operational Center - Postal Police Lazio, coordinated by the Postal Police and Communications Service and directed by the prosecutor's office of Naples. The investigation, the police let us know, originates from some reports made by unsuspecting holders of life insurance policies of Poste Italiane S.p.a. and saw the collaboration of the company's Fraud Management office, engaged in internal investigative investigations.
