Preventive Measures Against Giugliano and Taranto Football Fans Following Clashes

Eleven fans of Giugliano Calcio and Taranto have been subjected to a precautionary measure of mandatory police reporting issued by the pre-trial detention judge of the Naples North court upon request from the Prosecutor's Office. The supporters are under investigation for resisting a public official and personal injury in connection to the clashes between fans and law enforcement that occurred on October 8, 2023, outside the Giugliano stadium after the match valid for the C group of the Lega Pro championship between the local football team and Taranto. The investigations were conducted by the State Police (Digos of the Naples Police Headquarters and the Giugliano-Villaricca Police Station) and have allowed for the identification of those responsible for the clashes.
