Prison Guard Arrested with Drugs and Phones in Ariano Irpino Jail

A prison officer was transferred to prison after being caught with 4 and a half kilos of drugs and 22 mobile phones in the Ariano Irpino jail, where he serves. The officer, a 30-year-old from Brusciano, was arrested by his colleagues. House arrest had been arranged for him. Now, the decision of the judge for preliminary investigations of the Benevento Court has established his transfer behind the bars of the prison of the Samnite capital. Investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Benevento are ongoing on the matter.
