Professor Gerardo Canfora Awarded as Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic

Professor Gerardo Canfora, Rector of the University of Sannio, has been awarded the title of Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by decree of the President of the Republic. The title is awarded to those who have earned merits towards the Nation in the field of sciences, letters, arts, economy, and in the performance of public offices and activities carried out for social, philanthropic, and humanitarian purposes, as well as for long and distinguished services in civilian and military careers. The award ceremony will take place next June 2nd.
