Promoting National Theaters as Cultural Monuments in Italy

“The Court Theater of the Royal Palace of Caserta, the "Cimarosa" of Aversa, the "Garibaldi" of Santa Maria Capua Vetere and the municipal theater "Vittorio Emanuele" of Benevento should be recognized as national monuments. This is the purpose of an amendment I have submitted to the unified text, through which it is intended to affirm the artistic and cultural value of the national theaters. Our commitment is to promote this heritage, protect it, and convey its dimension to the new generations, so as not to disperse our history, traditions, and identity. The cultural expressions of the provinces of Caserta and Benevento deserve to obtain this recognition.” Declared by the Campanian deputy of the League, Gianpiero Zinzi.
