Hit by a car, a little dog was saved by the police just in time. This happened in Chiusano di San Domenico. The Carabinieri, while on a territorial control service, intervened on the SS400 where the presence of a small mixed-breed dog, severely injured, had been reported roadside.
The officers rescued the animal (which did not have a microchip) and requested the intervention of the veterinary staff of the ASL of Avellino. A veterinary ambulance arrived at the scene. The little dog was transported to Naples, to a veterinary center specialized in orthopedics.
