Ranieri's Cagliari Prepares for Napoli: 'We Know Their Strengths and Weaknesses'

Claudio Ranieri, coach of a Cagliari team that awaits the blues to try and steer its complicated season, does not mince words. "Our strategy does not change," the Roman coach explained at a press conference. "We did well in the first leg, without hesitation or fear, then in the end it went as it went. I would like the team to express itself in the same way. Napoli is not in crisis, I saw them with Barcelona and they are not in crisis at all. Last year they were a war machine, maybe they can't do everything, but they are ready to lift a badly started championship. They have great players, but at the end of the game our fans must be proud of what they saw." A season that could also have ended for Ranieri: "I had resigned before the match against Udinese. The boys understood, they reacted and I am happy with what was done in Udine, the second half is the track we must follow. We must play these games as we know how, without thinking about the opponent, all points are important."
