The cultural foster care project in Naples has been renewed for another 7 encounters, like the works of mercy, thanks to the support of Pio Monte della Misericordia.
The success of the project's formula, which lasted three years and was selected by With the children under the fund to combat educational poverty of minors, sees beneficiary families and foster families forming an educational pact through shared cultural experiences. From Naples, the project has extended over the three years in 11 Italian cities, demonstrating an idea of easy implementation but of great impact on the ultimate recipients of the actions: the children.
It is precisely for this reason that the Pio Monte della Misericordia, already leader of the project over the three years, has decided to renew its support for the Neapolitan group that had joined the idea and that over the years has become one big family.
The fifteen families will be the protagonists tomorrow, Saturday, February 18, of a special event that expands the actions of the cultural foster care project and sees the children and their parents at the center of the cultural experience. Through a synergy with the educational services of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, four adults and three minors will be special guides for their group on a guided tour of the Mann.
The journey will unfold through the story of seven works, one for each narrator, who volunteered to become the guide of the experience.
Each of them was sent a video by the educational services of the Mann with which they were able to choose the work and learn its characteristics and curiosities. The visiting experience will also be enriched by two specialized museum guides who will accompany the group throughout the journey.
Among these seven special guides, six are part of the families initially benefiting from the project, this practically demonstrates the effectiveness of what has been done in the previous three years and one of the principles with which Ac was conceived: the hope of a future in which exchange, self-giving, trust and reciprocity, passion and initiative, attention to others and responsibility, spread in society and guide individual and collective choices.
