A restaurateur had unlawfully built, on public land in front of his premises, a 30 sqm structure in aluminum and glass anchored to the ground and closed on all four sides. It was equipped with tables and chairs, fitted with an electrical system for LED lighting and air conditioning. The restaurateur was also accused of another unlawful occupation of 40 sqm of public land.
As part of the same control operation, fines totaling 11,000 euros were presented, with fines also to other public establishments inspected.
In particular, two fines were issued for unlawful occupation of public land, one for lack of license for the sale of alcoholic beverages, one for the lack of noise impact, one for the lack of a catering license and a health license.
