The metropolitan city of Naples has approved the final project of the Majorana i.s. in Somma Vesuviana for restoration, consolidation and functional adjustment works financed with funds from the European Union's next generation eu - Pnrr for a total amount of 3 million and 170 thousand euros.

The interventions will particularly concern the safety and static consolidation of the walls and floors, the safety and conservative restoration of the facades, the revision, restoration and replacement of the internal and external fixtures, in wood and iron, the verification and possible specific interventions on the roof, the functional adjustment and the reconversion of the internal spaces. Currently, the Majorana i.s. has 33 classes and about 650 students and the currently operating study addresses are: computer science and telecommunications, electronics and electrotechnics, chemistry, materials and biotechnologies, transport and logistics, construction of the means.
