Restoration and Safety Works Completed on the 'Ex Asilo Beatrice Bellelli' Municipal Building in Capaccio Paestum

On Monday, February 5, restoration and safety work was completed on the 'Ex Asilo Beatrice Bellelli' municipal building in Capaccio Paestum, which is used as a social infrastructure. The project, worth about 50,000 euros, was funded with ministerial funds for social infrastructures included in the so-called Southern Decree. The former Beatrice Bellelli kindergarten, home to one of the associations operating in Capaccio Paestum, is part of the historic and architectural heritage of the town center. After carrying out restoration and safety work on the building's roof, the work delivered involves restoration work related to the interior of the municipal building. The works range from the replacement of doors and windows of the structure, now worn out, to the plastering and subsequent painting of the walls of the building. The intervention is part of the recovery works of the ancient village, already interested, among other things, by the resurfacing and recovery and restoration of other historic buildings, including Palazzo Stabile, future home of the town hall. 'We restore dignity to another historic building in the town - says Mayor Franco Alfieri - On paper, we are talking about a small intervention, worth about 50,000 euros. In reality, it is a necessary and important intervention that will guarantee a requalified, and therefore more welcoming, environment to those who work inside the former kindergarten. I always say it and I like to repeat it: good administration is not only made of great works, but of care for every corner of the territory and attention to the needs of the community that inhabits it.'
