Restoration Works at Maschio Angioino: A 3 to 5 Day Project Begins

The restoration works at Maschio Angioino will last from a minimum of three to a maximum of five days, starting today after the collapse that occurred during the Easter holidays. From the agreement between Minister Sangiuliano and Mayor Manfredi, 18 million euros have been allocated for the works. This morning, workers coordinated by the technicians from Napoli Servizi started the creation of a protected path inside the building. There is a large crowd of tourists moving away disappointed from the entrance. No entry: only photos and videos from the outside. The areas of interest particularly concern the area in front of the ticket office, the office entrance, the access to the elevator, and the area in front of the bathrooms. In fact, above these areas are flat architraves above the windows, exactly where the detachment of stones had occurred.
