Resuming Dialogue between Naples and Ischia Courts: Addressing the Judicial System's Precariousness

Dialogue between the Bar of Naples and that of Ischia resumes: the precariousness of the justice system on the island has long been on the verge of a severe management crisis as the deadline for the extension of the maintenance of the Ischia detached section of the Naples court set for the end of this year approaches. The new president of the Naples lawyers, Carmine Foreste, speaking at the extraordinary assembly of the Ischia lawyers, expressed with the new composition of the Coa the total willingness to be close to colleagues, restoring a contact interrupted without any reason in recent months. The need for dialogue is attributable to the duty of protection towards all the members of the Naples Bar, without any territorial distinction but there is also the inevitable sensitivity to the problems related to the correct performance of the Justice service, notoriously suffering from structural deficiencies of managerial and executive personnel and from the chronic criticality of the stabilization of the Judicial Offices on the island territory. 'The Order of Lawyers declares immediate availability to undertake incisive dialogues with the presidency of the Court of Naples - Foreste explained at the end of the meeting - and as far as stabilization is concerned, to urge the government forces given the deadline of the extension set on December 31 of this year, which requires immediate measures by the responsible institutions.'
