Revitalization Projects Underway in Acquaviva District

Construction sites for the revitalization of the Acquaviva District will start shortly, aimed at changing the face of the entire area. The final awarding of the works has indeed taken place, with the completion of all necessary administrative checks. Firstly, the project (funded with PNRR funds and specifically Pinqua - National Innovative Program on Housing Quality) will commence, which includes interventions concerning the redevelopment of streets and sidewalks, the creation of a wide pedestrian and cycle path, the placement of new street furniture, the removal of architectural barriers, the installation of new road signs, and the redevelopment of small villas. All these works will be carried out on the main streets of the district. Construction will also start for the "Palavignola", which will undergo significant expansion and redevelopment, making it suitable to host over 2,000 spectators, allowing for the holding of championships in various sports disciplines (primarily basketball and volleyball) at high levels. The following interventions will be carried out in detail: replacement of roof tiles; review and/or replacement of existing technological systems (water system, electrical system, air conditioning system, etc.); replacement of the wooden sports flooring; review/replacement of sports equipment (game systems, electronic scoreboards, etc.). "The Acquaviva District," explained the mayor of Caserta, Carlo Marino, "is the subject of an epochal project, which will see a great transformation, thanks to which it will become more modern and rich in infrastructure and services. We are talking about the most populous district of the city, which has a significant importance and centrality for this Administration. We will carry out interventions to redevelop the streets, to build new sidewalks and a bike path that will extend to the border with San Nicola La Strada. As for the Palavignola," the mayor continued, "we will soon have a completely renovated sports hall, ready to welcome sports clubs also engaged in high-level competitions."
