Presented at Vinitaly OroRe Nero, the red wine from the Vigna del Re del Bosco of San Silvestro of the Reggia di Caserta produced by Tenuta Fontana. At the most important wine fair in the world, the latest product of the vineyard recovered within the Vanvitellian Complex, Museum of the Ministry of Culture, was shown to the national and international market. The Vineyard of the Reggia di Caserta also proved to be an opportunity to share a common strategy on the historical Campanian vineyards and beyond. The Campanian regional councilor for Agriculture, Nicola Caputo, starting from the Vineyard of the Reggia di Caserta, proposed to create a route on the historical Campanian vineyards. An idea shared by the director of the Reggia di Caserta, Tiziana Maffei, also because for some time now the Reggia has supported and promoted the idea of agricultural productions desired by the Bourbons as a symbolic reference point of the collective agri-food imagination not only Italian, combining history and culture. 'The Reggia has long been working for the involvement of the private sector by enhancing the productive identity of the Bourbon sites,' said director Maffei. 'Viticulture expresses all the culture, history, and traditions of our community - said councilor Nicola Caputo - Within the framework of the enogastronomic routes, we intend to enhance the historical vineyards linked to the cultural reference sites of our region.' An idea also taken up by all the other speakers at the table: the owner of Tenuta Fontana, Maria Pina Fontana; the oenologist Francesco Bartoletti; the spin doctor Luigi Ferraiuolo; the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Caserta Tommaso De Simone; the president of the Vitica Consortium Cesare Avenia; the president of the Campanian Fisar Carlo Iacone. 'Historical vineyards are a symbolic point of reference of great charm and communicative power,' emphasized Ferraiuolo. Mariapina Fontana highlighted how the enterprise had been titanic: 'OroRe, the Vineyard of the Reggia, are a community brand: every improvement is a step forward in favor of the wines of Campania Felix.' A passage, that of growth, also highlighted by the president of the Chamber of Commerce Tommaso De Simone: 'When we started the adventure with the provincial wine shop in 2014 there were about twenty companies - says De Simone - now there are many. This is our mission, to grow the companies of the territory, to network them, to accompany them, to grow Terra di Lavoro.'
