Robbery at Betting Agency in Baiano: Police Swiftly Arrest Two Suspects

On Saturday, the police officers of the Mobile Squad of Naples, together with personnel from the Mobile Squad of Avellino, during the services duly prepared, intervened in a betting agency in Baiano following the report of a robbery by two people. The operators, promptly intervening, managed to identify and stop the suspects, one aboard a car on the A16 motorway at the Nola exit, while the other, aboard a scooter, on the state road 162 at the Casoria exit. The latter was found in possession of a replica of a pistol with 4 blank rounds and a bag containing 5510 euros in banknotes and coins, which he was hiding under the seat. Furthermore, thanks to the meticulous analysis of the images extracted from the video surveillance system of the establishment, it was possible to examine the phases preceding and following the criminal event, which allowed the recognition of the suspects. The aforementioned, a 47-year-old, already subjected to the alternative measure to detention of probation to social services, and a 27-year-old, both from Naples with previous police records, including specific ones, were arrested for aggravated robbery.
