Robbery at Shopping Mall: 21-year-old Moroccan Arrested

Yesterday afternoon, the agents of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, during the territorial control service, following a note received at the local Operational Room, intervened at a shop in a shopping center on Argine street due to a theft report. The police, promptly arrived on the spot, found that a man had been noticed by the reception staff because, by crossing the anti-theft barriers, he had triggered the alarm; therefore, the receptionist had reached him asking him to show the contents of his backpack but the suspect initially ignored him and then physically attacked him. Therefore, the operators blocked the suspect, identified as a 21-year-old Moroccan with a police record and irregular on the national territory, finding him in possession of the goods just taken from the commercial activity, for a value of about 378 euros, a pair of scissors and a metal cutter, and arrested him for improper robbery; the aforementioned was also reported for carrying weapons or objects capable of offending. Finally, the stolen goods were returned to the owner of the shop.
