On behalf of the Prosecutor of the Republic of Naples, it is communicated that, on Thursday, the State Police arrested the criminal: E.C. as he is strongly suspected of the robbery committed, last 16th February in the Vomero district, in Largo Francesco Celebrano.
At the end of the investigation activity, carried out by the Mobile Squad and the Vomero Police Station, consisting of the examination of images extracted from the surveillance systems present at the scene of the event and in the surrounding streets, the suspect was identified who, pretending to be lame, using medical crutches - together with an accomplice not yet identified - followed the victim inside a garage, robbing her of her belongings and hitting her savagely.
The blows inflicted forced the victim to be hospitalized, for several days, at the Cardarelli hospital. The 51-year-old was arrested and is now in the Poggioreale prison.
