RoccAperta Initiative: A Resounding Success at the Rocca dei Rettori

Significant was the response of visitors who stopped at the Rocca dei Rettori, the institutional and museum headquarters of the Province of Benevento, opened to the public on spring weekends as part of the 'RoccAperta' initiative wanted by president Nino Lombardi. On the day of Sunday, April 28 alone, more than 400 people signed the guest register: 'Considering that, usually, only 4 out of 10 visitors sign - the Province notes in a statement - it's easy to conclude that we are facing significant and absolutely relevant figures. Many of the visitors were pilgrims who had been on the Via Francigena route for several days'. Moreover, these data are in line with the weekend of April 25, as well as with Easter Monday. Among the attendees were foreign tourists (including those from Mexico and Germany) and those from all Italian regions (from Sicily to Veneto, passing through Calabria, Lazio, Marche, Tuscany, and other regions). Also, for the weekend of May 1st, the Rocca dei Rettori will be open to the public: 'RoccAperta' thus adopts the following visiting hours for the Lombard-Renaissance monumental complex: from 9 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm.
