Romanian Man Escapes House Arrest After Burning Waste Near High School, Arrested Again

A thirty-five-year-old Romanian man escaped from house arrest after being detained by the carabinieri of the local station while he and a fellow countryman, on Circumvallazione street, in San Cipriano d'Aversa, were burning plastic and industrial waste near the "Gino Segre" scientific high school. The military police, during a late-night check at the man's residence where he was confined, noticed his escape and immediately started searching for him. The man, intending to cover his tracks by leaving the territory by train, was tracked down and stopped this morning at the Villa Literno railway station. Taken to the barracks, he was arrested and made available to the competent judicial authority which, upon validating the arrest, ordered his detention in the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
