Saint Giuseppe Moscati: A Theatrical Tribute in Benevento

On Friday, at 7 PM, at the Municipal Theater of Benevento, the Benevento delegation of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, under the patronage of the Archdiocesan Curia and the Municipality, will present the theatrical show 'Giuseppe Moscati, our Saint'. The performance about the life of the saint, born just steps away from the Arch of Trajan, stems from an idea by Anna Todisco and Costanza Fiore, inspired by the text of Paola Bergamini 'Laico that is Christian'. The theatrical narrative and direction are by Albino Zarrella. The Unstable and Shaky Company of the Sanità district (A.o. San Giuseppe Moscati of Avellino) has already achieved success in previous stagings of a captivating and exciting work, which involves the spectator making them feel the strong presence of one of the most venerated saints of our time. The purpose of the Equestrian Order has always been to raise funds to be allocated to works in the Holy Land, a corner of the world increasingly tormented by war. The evening will be presented by the well-known showman Enzo Costanza. On the occasion, a relic of the saint will be displayed in the morning at the San Giuseppe Moscati church, in Nicola Ciletti street, and in the afternoon in the church of Santa Sofia, granted by the Church and the Municipality of Santa Lucia di Serino, the saint's family's hometown. The days in memory of Saint Giuseppe Moscati will continue on May 4th at 6 PM, with the presentation of a book, to which the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, through a brother, has collaborated with historical contributions.
