A gesture of solidarity from the law enforcement agencies of Salerno towards Caritas. The Salerno Customs Office, together with the Provincial Command of the Financial Police, has donated to the diocesan Caritas over 1300 items of clothing, mostly intended for children, seized as part of a counterfeit crackdown.
These are items taken from the 'fake' market, otherwise destined for destruction; the donation was arranged by the Salerno Prosecutor's Office.
At the handover, which took place at the Customs Agency offices, representatives of Caritas were present, as well as the customs officials and the military personnel who carried out the seizure.
