San Pio Hospital's Women's Health Open Day

On the occasion of the International Women's Rights Day, the hospital company "San Pio" opens its doors to women for visits, medical consultations, instrumental examinations, and informative meetings. Preventing, informing, and educating women on taking care of their health are the fundamental objectives of the strategic direction. It will be possible to book visits by calling the number 0824/57208 on March 7, from 10 am to 1:30 pm. A "full immersion" in the pink planet with the spotlight on the health and well-being of the female population. "Info-She" is the initiative curated by the Uosd Human Reproduction Pathophysiology and integrated prenatal diagnosis located on the fourth floor of the San Pio pavilion. The medical and biological staff will inform women about prevention of risk behaviors for fertility (sexually transmitted diseases, lifestyle, diet, smoking, drugs); ovarian reserve; time to pregnancy. It will also be possible to carry out free medical consultations and instrumental examinations and informative meetings by the following complex operational units: Uoc Breast Unit, at the outpatient clinic on the first floor of the Rummo pavilion from 1 pm to 3 pm; Uoc Dermatology, first floor Rummo pavilion, from 9 am to 11 am; Uoc Rheumatology, outpatient clinic on the ground floor of the Rummo pavilion, from 9 am to 12 pm; Uoc Diagnostic Imaging, first floor Rummo pavilion, from 1:30 pm to 6 pm; Uoc Gynecology and Obstetrics, second floor San Pio pavilion, from 9 am to 1 pm. Space also for an educational-informational event with the presentation of childbirth preparation courses, by the staff of the Maternal and Child Department, which will be held from 8 am to 12 pm in the training room located on the second floor of the San Pio pavilion. Furthermore, nutritional consultations will be available, curated by the Complementary Medicine Nutrition and Dietetics service at the outpatient clinic located on the ground floor of the San Pio pavilion, from 10 am to 12 pm. "An opportunity to remember the importance of prevention and promotion of women's health. We are happy to be able to implement concrete actions to involve the population on delicate and important issues," says the general director Maria Morgante. The pink open day will open at 10 am with the planting of a mimosa tree in the garden adjacent to the main entrance of the hospital, in Via Pace Vecchia. In honor of women, the "Santa Maria delle Grazie Pavilion" will be illuminated in pink on the evening of March 8.
