San Vittorino Complex in Benevento Entrusted to the University of Sannio for Thirty Years

For the next thirty years, the historic San Vittorino complex in Benevento will be managed by the University of Sannio. This is established by the agreement signed today in the Sannio capital between the mayor Clemente Mastella and Gerardo Canfora, rector of the Sannio university, which is the recipient of funding from the Ministry of University and Research for the creation of 65 university residences. "The heritage of the Municipality is at the service of the city's development," comments Mayor Mastella, "and this is the conceptual and programmatic input that underlies the concession of the use of San Vittorino to the University. The construction of new student housing in the historic center represents a form of enrichment for the urban fabric of the historic center with mutual benefits: Unisannio represents a strategic asset for the development of the city, and for this reason, we concretely support the enhancement of services, including residential, to be offered to students who choose to train at the Sannio university."
