Sawn-off Shotgun Seized in Naples Outskirts

A sawn-off shotgun was found and seized by the Carabinieri of Castello di Cisterna during some searches in the hinterland north of Naples. The weapon was found in San Vitaliano: the soldiers of the local station combed the streets and buildings of the '219' and during the operations, a sawn-off hunting shotgun was found and seized. The weapon - which was hidden in the stairwell of a residential building - will be subjected to ballistic examinations to verify its possible use in acts of bloodshed or other crimes.
