Science City enhances its offerings with a rich program of events for the long weekend from May 1st to May 5th to better welcome the many visitors populating the Coroglio Science Centre's spaces these days.
The schedule includes numerous guided tours of the Museum, interactive workshops, shows at the Planetarium, and the fascinating science shows Light and Magic and Let's Experiment with Water.
The days of Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday, May 5th will be dedicated to the theme Animalia: exploring (up close) the animal kingdom.
An engaging experience, to explore up close the diversity of animal life and the importance of preserving various natural habitats. Discovering the wonders of the animal world and with the commitment to become responsible sentinels of our planet.
Among the various activities, in addition to the exhibitions “Insects & Co.” and “Let's Do an Experiment!”: the Puppet Zoo, The Journey of the Caterpillar, the process through which a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, Run Scientist Run, a giant game to discover the life of scientists, Inside and Out: X-ray Images of Animal Life.
Furthermore, on May 4th and 5th, Science City hosts the “Pet Camper Tour”, promoted by Pet Carpet along with the Police, Carabinieri, and Anas. The fourth edition of the educational and solidarity campaign with workshops, sensory experiences, games, and gadgets against animal abandonment, for environmental protection, and for road safety.
Finally, on Sunday, May 5th, the TREC project by EMBL, the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, arrives at Science City. TREC is a fascinating journey through the European coasts to explore the biodiversity and molecular adaptability of microbial communities.
