Search Operation for Missing Man in Grazzanise Ends Tragically

Last night, the firefighters of the provincial command of Caserta intervened in Grazzanise for the search of a person, a man, who had not returned home. Mobilized immediately, the red helmets set up a local command unit in the place where the man's car was found to coordinate the searches. In addition to the regular team, the firefighters intervened with Tas personnel (topography experts) for the management of ground searches and with a helicopter, coming from the helicopter unit of Pontecagnano, for monitoring the area from above. The canine unit, coming from Vibo Valentia, and the divers from Naples also intervened on the site for searches in the nearby Volturno river, where, unfortunately, the lifeless body of the missing person, a 58-year-old local man, was found. The causes are under investigation.
