Seasonal Forestry Workers to Resume Service in Fortore Mountain Community

On Monday, April 8, the seasonal forestry workers of the Fortore Mountain Community will return to service. These are 43 workers, who will presumably work for 179 contributory days and will be engaged in the territory alongside the permanent workers for the functional enhancement of the forest infrastructure. This was decided by the executive committee of the mountain entity, chaired by Zaccaria Spina, in the guidelines of the Territorial Forestry and Mountain Reclamation Plan for 2024, giving mandate to the sole responsible for the procedure of the Agriculture and Forests Sector, Pietro Giallonardo, to proceed in this sense. "The hope," explains Spina, "is that in the current year we can finally define, in agreement with the Campania Region, the issue of the stabilization of the workforce, which has become increasingly indispensable due to retirements, the ability to use new machinery purchased, the considerable and very wide territorial surface affected by the programming, and the projects that we will realize. We hope that, in addition to the stabilization of the temporary workers in question, we will also proceed to the start of the turnover with related new hires."
