Serena Iossa Appointed to Accelerate Initiatives at ITS Fashion Foundation Campania - Mia

She will be decisive in accelerating our initiatives,» stated Carlo Palmieri, the President of the ITS Fashion Foundation Campania - Mia, on the sidelines of the executive committee meeting of the Foundation held at the Municipality of Naples, a partner of the Entity, to initiate and consolidate the reorganization also in light of the latest regulatory updates, including the appointment of the director of the Foundation. Serena Iossa has been identified, currently serving as the Operational Director and responsible for the Leather Polytechnic of the Experimental Station for the Leather Industry and a lecturer in the course Strategies for Business Innovation at the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II. Among the first tasks of the new director will be to implement the transformation process of the MIA Foundation into an Academy as planned by the Ministry of Education and Merit and the Campania Region. The ITS Mia Foundation, whose activities are financed by the Campania Region and the PNRR, sees, in addition to the SSIP, the participation of companies in the leather and textile-clothing sector at both local and national levels, local entities (including the Municipality of Naples, Solofra, and Caserta), the special company of the CCIAA of Naples, SI enterprise, educational institutes (including Isabella D'Este, Da Vinci of Naples, and Ronca of Solofra), Universities (Vanvitelli and Parthenope), training and research agencies, and trade associations, aims to create free, highly professionalizing training courses for young graduates, capable of meeting the employment demand from one of the strategic sectors of the Campania economy.
