Over the years, he has been reported 35 times for his activity as an illegal parking operator near the Santobono hospital in Naples. Convicted, his sentence was suspended but he did not respect the judge's prescriptions and is now in prison, sentenced to 4 months of imprisonment.
The story begins in 2018. The Carabinieri of the Vomero company sanctioned a 60-year-old from the Sanità district. As happens in many areas of the city, the man asked for money from some motorists looking for parking. The first sanction was administrative but this did not prevent him from continuing in his activity and the police from reporting and denouncing him about 35 times, almost always in the streets surrounding the Santobono pediatric hospital. The judicial proceeding has never stopped since then and has continued until the conviction. The judge imposed a fine of 2,000 euros and four months of imprisonment on the man but with the suspension of the sentence and the same months of probation.
Despite the conviction, the man did not even respect the prescriptions imposed in the decree of suspension of execution for imprisonment. Having failed the prerequisites to benefit from the suspension, the judge has reinstated the prison sentence. The man was taken to Poggioreale prison and there he will serve the next four months.
