The DDA of Naples has arrested six people for murder aggravated by mafia-related purposes.
These are the instigators and material executors of the murder of Esposito Francesco, a subject linked to the Mazzarella clan, killed with a gunshot to the chest as he left his home in Marigliano on 5th February 2016. According to what was gathered during the investigation, the murder was triggered following numerous disputes that arose between some clans and criminal groups in Naples and its province, to assert their dominance over Marigliano and neighboring municipalities.
The measure executed is a precautionary measure ordered in the context of preliminary investigations, the suspects are therefore presumed innocent until final judgment.
