Today, the Softlab affair marks another dramatic moment with the company's escape from the ministerial crisis table, with a declared attempt to separate the fates of Softlab Spa from Softlab tech, offloading the fates of the workers of Caserta in a Russian doll game. This is an attempt by the company that we will strongly oppose, with all means at our disposal. It is unacceptable for the umpteenth time the script of an entrepreneur who with public money starves a territory and its workers by moving resources and activities to the North. Thus, in a note, the secretariats of Cgil Naples and Campania and Cgil Caserta, comment on today's meeting at the Mimit on the Softlab dispute, which recorded the absence of the ownership at the negotiation table. "The time has come," say Cgil Naples and Campania and Cgil Caserta, "for the territory of Caserta, its productive and employment crisis, and its technological vocation, which we still consider current and therefore will defend, to become a central issue not only for our region but at a national level. For this reason, the Campania Region must intervene forcefully by opening a table with all the parties, outlining a development strategy that identifies priorities in the use of resources, starting from the redefinition of complex crisis areas that also includes the territory of Maddaloni as hoped for today by the ministerial table, in an overall reasoning that includes all the corporate crises such as those of Jabil and Nuroll and the industries of the leather and footwear sector. Without an intervention of the regional government that promotes the theme of the development of the Caserta territory at a national level, making it a priority also in the investments that will arrive in Italy for the digital and environmental transition, it is not possible to imagine a dignified future for our territory and its workers cannot be left at the mercy of opportunists in a script that our territory has already experienced too many times.
