Strong Winds and Rough Seas Alert Issued for Campania Region

The Civil Protection of the Campania Region informs that starting from midnight throughout Campania there will be locally strong southern winds, with local gusts. The Functional Center has indeed issued an alert for strong wind and rough seas along the exposed coasts with possible storm surges from midnight until 6 pm tomorrow, Sunday, March 10. The Regional Operational Room recommends that Mayors monitor public green areas and structures exposed to the stresses of winds and wave motion, as well as to activate all measures aimed at preventing and countering the impact of the predicted phenomena. It is reminded that the alert for wind and sea is not associated with any color code. The fact that the issued bulletin is Green means exclusively that there are no precipitations and thunderstorms that could lead to a consequent hydrogeological risk.
